What Does it Mean to be Saved?

"If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" - Romans 10:9
When we say that we are saved, what do we mean? In short, we are saying that we have accepted Jesus Christ into our hearts. The Bible says, "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). By trusting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you will be forgiven of your sins and born into the family of God. We would love to welcome you into the family and help you grow in your relationship with God.

IF YOU ARE READY TO ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST INTO YOUR HEART, PLEASE TAKE THESE THREE STEPS:

1. Watch the video below.
2. Follow the instructions.
3. Click the "Accept Jesus" button below to tell us about your decision.
Thank you.

Join a Bible Believing Church

Joining a church is a big decision, and though there are many churches, we would be honored if you would join our church family. We are not a perfect church; however, we are a loving church family that has plenty good room for you. We are praying for you and hope you consider connecting with us.

HERE ARE FOUR INVITATIONS FOR RESPONDING TO THE GOSPEL:

1. Salvation:  Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and receive forgiveness of your sins.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. - Romans 10:9-10

2. Rededication:  Anyone who has accepted Jesus Christ, but has strayed in their walk with Him, can rededicate themselves to Christ.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  - 1 John 1:9

3. Assurance:  If you are not sure of your salvation status, you can receive absolute assurance.
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.  - 1 John 5:13

4. Church Membership:  Membership is extended to anyone who has accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.  - Hebrews 10:25

What is Baptism?

Although Jesus knew no sin, He demonstrated to us that baptism is an outward expression of the Spiritual change that takes place when a person receives the free gift of salvation. The Bible tells us that we don't get baptized to get saved; rather we are baptized because of our relationship with the One who died so we can have eternal life. It is therefore extremely important that baptism occur after a person has made a conscious decision to repent of their sins and profess their faith in Jesus Christ. You can discuss these areas with us by completing the contact form or by calling the church at (301) 899-8885. We will be delighted to speak with you.
